Description
The Supply Chain and Global Finance organizations at Johnson & Johnson are undergoing significant change, to enable growth and value for Johnson & Johnson through a Global Integrated Supply Chain organization that optimizes services, reduces costs and enables quality and compliance, as well as the roll-out of the Global Finance shared service organization that drives significant efficiencies and improved controls. An important element in delivering the Global Supply Chain enterprise strategy is the establishment of the Back to Basics (BtB) Program.
The overall purpose for the creation of the BtB team is to translate corporate strategy into a clear picture of J&J's Enterprise Supply Chain and Global Finance business models by defining key strategic capabilities, standard processes, quality and compliance standards & supporting infrastructure. BtB is a process-based business transformation Program to deliver the Supply Chain strategic enterprise capabilities and enable Supply Chain and Finance efficiencies.
Back to Basics is recruiting for a Quality & Compliance Manager in ASPAC
• Manages all BtB Deployments and Production releases for the ASPAC region as the BtB Q&C Deployment Lead
• Leads a team consisting of J&J Analyst and consultants (onshore/offshore in the region) to consistently review validation deliverables to support the deployment timing. Responsible for onboarding and training of new resources on validation approach and review
• The Quality & Compliance manager in his/her role is responsible for quality leadership of systems change control and one of the Back to Basics process areas (Quality Management/Deliver), needed to support the validated state of Back to Basics SAP (BtB) solution
• Manages the system change process for Production and Project (interface to IT support, impact analysis, release mgt, data changes, testing etc.). Monitor quality of releases and multiple projects across the various BtB systems and ensure timely tracking and publishing of metrics.
• Reviews and approves validation documents, performs pre and post approval of test scripts, and review and approval of change controls.
• Ensures all deliverables are standard across the enterprise and meet the Quality Systems requirements.
• Maintains sector alignment on the Compliance strategy and overall quality system approach.
• Works in partnership with peers to develop processes, policies, procedures, training, and metrics to achieve and maintain Quality Systems. Act as key liaison to other process teams.
• Drives understanding and adoption of Quality and Compliance standards within and outside the BtB program.
• Ensures Quality and Compliance requirements are considered in any initiative or major change request.
• Works with IT and process teams within BtB to drive & maintain BtB Quality program.
• Aligns the development methodology with the Compliance plan, policies and procedures.
• Provides quality support to the Q&C Senior Manager. Reports directly to the Senior Manager, Back to Basics Quality and Compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required. A BS in Business, Logistics, Accounting, Engineering, Science, IT or related field MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Seven (7) years of professional experience is required. A minimum of 5 years in IT/BU Quality and working within a regulated environment is required. A minimum of 3 years of Leadership experience is required.
Experience with large ERP systems is required. Experience working within a regulated environment with an emphasis on computer system validation of systems and process is preferred.
Experience working within a regulated environment supporting internal and external audits is required. Strong background and experience in IT/BU Quality, J&J SDLC understanding of US & International regulatory requirements, Experience working/supporting multiple franchises and sectors within J&J preferred.
Understanding of Supply Chain technologies and end-to-end business/IT architecture, SAP, middleware, etc. is preferred. Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery is required.
Strong people management and development skills are preferred.
Strong analytical skills are required. Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Processes & Methodologies is required, GAMP 5 experience preferred.
Knowledge of Change Control Methodologies and Technology, functional experience in CHARM application is preferred.
Experience working remotely with business partners in a global environment is preferred. Previous experience managing people is preferred.
Travel domestically and internationally 50%; travel may be required and up to 70% for shorter periods
